The Technology Alone
Is Not Enough
Deploying clean energy at scale requires not just technology, but a network of research institutions, deployment partners, government programs and capital. We are building that network — and we are looking for partners who understand that the energy transition is a systems problem.
Four Ways to Partner
Different partners play different roles in bringing solid-state hydrogen systems to the world. We design partnerships that create genuine value for each type.
Research & Joint Development
For universities, national laboratories and research institutes interested in advancing materials science, system integration or applications-specific optimization. We have established models for IP co-development, funded research programs and student exchange.
Pilot & Commercial Deployment
For energy developers, utilities, industrial operators and government agencies seeking to deploy solid-state hydrogen systems in specific contexts. We scope projects, provide systems and support operations through HaaS or CAPEX structures.
Regional Distribution & Integration
For engineering firms, system integrators and regional energy developers who want to bring solid-state hydrogen solutions to their local markets. We provide technology, training, support and co-marketing for regional scale-up.
Strategic Investment & Finance
For investors and development finance institutions aligned with the long-duration clean energy thesis. We are building infrastructure that will be needed in virtually every market — and looking for capital partners who understand the scale of the opportunity.
Academic and Solution Foundation
Our technology is not a startup bet — it is built on peer-reviewed science from China's premier research institution and global top industry partners.

PKU Weihai Institute of Ocean Research
Hydrogen Energy Center
PKU Weihai Institute of Ocean Research — Hydrogen Energy Center
The Hydrogen Energy Center at Peking University's Weihai Institute of Ocean Research serves as the primary source for POE's core alloy science. Research programs focus on novel metal hydride compositions, kinetics optimization and cycling stability under real-world operational conditions.
The collaboration spans materials synthesis and characterization, alloy performance modeling, and technology transfer frameworks designed to translate laboratory breakthroughs into commercially viable storage modules.

Electrochemistry & Fuel Cell Systems
PKU Center for Applied Superconductivity Research, Laboratory for New Energy Transformation
The Laboratory for New Energy Transformation, Center for Applied Superconductivity Research provides the systems-level research foundation for POE's integrated hydrogen energy systems — spanning electrolyzer performance, PEM fuel cell optimization and system-level energy management strategies.
Research collaboration focuses on whole-system efficiency improvements, thermal integration between storage and generation components, and AI-based control strategies for real-world deployment scenarios.

Global Renewable Energy Developer
Qair — International Renewable Energy & Hydrogen Partner
Qair is a global renewable energy developer with projects spanning solar, wind and hydrogen across Europe, Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa. The partnership with POE focuses on integrating solid-state hydrogen storage into Qair's utility-scale renewable energy projects — particularly in markets where grid instability and logistical constraints have made long-duration storage a strategic priority.
Joint work includes feasibility studies for combined solar-hydrogen systems, pilot deployment scoping and exploration of co-investment structures for emerging market projects where HaaS economics are most compelling.
Building a Global Deployment Network
Technology succeeds when it is embedded in an ecosystem. We are building the institutional, commercial and financial network to deploy solid-state hydrogen at scale.
Island & Off-Grid Governments
Pacific Island nations, Caribbean governments, African regional energy authorities and remote community operators seeking clean energy independence. We offer pilot-scale deployment and HaaS financing structures compatible with development finance instruments.
Renewable Energy Developers
Solar and wind project developers seeking to add long-duration storage capability to existing or planned projects. Joint development of integrated systems that improve revenue capture and grid contract value.
Mining & Industrial Operators
Mine operators, industrial port authorities and remote industrial facilities seeking clean alternatives to diesel power in extreme-climate and logistically constrained environments.
Climate Technology Investors
Series A-stage investors and development finance institutions with mandates for long-duration storage, Global South energy access or hydrogen economy infrastructure. We welcome introductory conversations and NDAs are standard.
Regional Integration Partners
Engineering firms, systems integrators and local energy developers in target markets who want to bring solid-state hydrogen solutions to their regions with POE technology, support and co-marketing.
Research Collaborators
International universities and research institutes interested in advancing next-generation alloy science, system integration or application-specific optimization through joint research programs.
